This acquisition will enable us to expand our expertise in electronics maintenance by diversifying the range of fields in which we work to include power electronics, LCD/plasma screens and panels, computer equipment and complex circuit boards.

ITANCIA announces the acquisition of the activity of the Grenoble-based company G2S, which specialises in electronic repairs and industrial subcontracting.

Paris, 2 November 2010 

With the acquisition of the G2S company, the Itancia Group intends to boost its activities in electronic repairs of industrial and IT equipment while maintaining its Grenoble site.

The Itancia Group is already very present in electronic workshop repairs of business communications and network infrastructure equipment and it is now looking to expand its expertise to include maintenance operations.

"This acquisition will allow us to diversify the fields in which we work to include complex circuit boards, LCD Plasma screens and panels, computer equipment and power electronics," indicated Thierry Le Goff, Vice-President of Operations for the Itancia Group.
Itancia intends to emphasise sales growth and promote the know-how of this Grenoble-based company. "G2S also has a highly-skilled staff and highly advanced equipment (surface mount component replacement, BGA reballing, board wiring, etc.) which will allow us to position our company in new markets where we are not currently represented," added Thierry Le Goff.
